London, March 2015

The 34th time I met Lewis was at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on Tuesday 24th March 2015.

This was the fifth date of Prides UK tour supporting Kiesza.

I got to the venue at just after 1pm to queue. I thought I was going to have a long lonely wait by myself, but soon afterwards a fan of Kiesza arrived and I spent the afternoon talking to him.  He felt sorry for me because I was so cold (and inadequately dressed because I'm an idiot) and he offered me his coat. I wore it all afternoon and it made such a difference. It was really kind of him. Thank you Andy, if you ever read this.

While we were queuing, something really exciting happened! Ljuba was walking past and she came over to say hi to me and Andy! She knew him from other times he'd seen Kiesza and she actually remembered me from Glasgow! I couldn't believe it! I got a photo with her and she stayed outside to talk to us for ages.

She is such a lovely friendly person and so beautiful! I told her I'd been to the whole tour and that I was a really big fan of Prides and I asked if she'd spent much time with them yet. But she said because of their busy schedule and sound check times they kept missing each other. I told her how much I like Lewis and she said she liked listening to him drumming because he hits the drums so hard and is so loud.  She said she was going to speak to him today.  I asked if it would be possible for me to have a photo with her and Lewis, and she said she'd ask him! I was so happy!

A while later Prides arrived. They got out of a car and I said hi Lewis and he said hi Greer and gave me a wave! He really is the kindest loveliest person ever, it's moments like that which make my life!

Although I was queuing for such a long time, it was fun! I made friends with other fans and I met some people who knew people I knew and they were lovely.  There were several fans who travel round the country to meet their favourites, like I do, which was really nice. Also, my lovely friends from Czech were there too, I was so happy to see them again! So the time actually passed really quickly.

Tracey Faye had travelled all the way from Glasgow that day. She joined me in the queue just after 6pm. I was so happy to be reunited with her again!

We got to the front centre barrier inside the venue and we were so excited!

Tonight there was an extra support act, Chloe Black. I had never heard any of Chloe's music before and I didn't know what to expect. She was absolutely amazing! She has a very beautiful voice and her songs are so lovely. She is also quite possibly the most beautiful person I have ever seen.  She has the most stunning figure ever and the most amazing hair and beautiful eyes. She is a goddess!

After she played she came to the front barrier to talk to fans. I got a photo with her and she was so lovely.

Then it was nearly time for Prides, so me and Tracey put our glow sticks on and were feeling very excited!

Prides were absolutely awesome and it was one of my favourite times of seeing them! Lewis looked even more handsome than ever and was doing the most gorgeous drumface and his arm moves and I love him so much! He really is a god!

It was really nice during the gig when Stewart saw Tracey and he smiled at her. That made her night!

After they'd played, me and Tracey headed to the back of the venue, where we met Mel, who I knew from online! She is so lovely and it was so wonderful to meet her in person at last!

Mel writes a lovely blog, please check it out here: https://melsjukebox.wordpress.com/

I really enjoyed watching Kiesza again. Although we were at the back of the venue, I found there was a brilliant view from the bar, so I got to see lovely Ljuba dancing which made me very happy! She really is the most amazing dancer I have ever seen! And even when I couldn't see so well, I was just enjoying myself dancing in the corner of the venue! By now I had got to know Kiesza's songs and I really liked them, and there was such a happy atmosphere!

After Kiesza had finished, Prides came to the merchandise stand.  Lewis gave me a hug and it was the happiest moment of the whole tour for me!! It made my life!! I asked him if he'd met Ljuba and he said yes and that she'd told him I wanted a photo and he said he'd make sure we got one tomorrow. (Unfortunately however the Nottingham gig got cancelled so I never got the photo, but it doesn't matter cos I'm just so happy that they both had agreed to it!)

I did get a lovely photo with Lewis, which is one of my favourites from the tour.

Tracey spent a lot of time talking to Stewart and he gave her a hug and 2 kisses on the cheek, which made her very happy!

I got a great photo of Tracey and Stewart posing!

Ally was there and he gave me a hug and high five, which made me so happy! He is so lovely and it was really nice to see him again!

I got a photo with one of my lovely friends Zdeňka, from the Czech Republic!

Then me, Tracey and Mel got a funny photo with Lewis! After we'd had it taken he said that was a lovely one!

Then I saw Chloe Black had come out to meet fans again, so I got a photo with her and some of my friends from the queue, Ash, Natalie, and Becky.

Then Chloe attempted to belly bump Lewis! But neither of them have beer bellies so it looked a bit weird, but that doesn't matter because they are the 2 most beautiful people in the whole world!

I got a lovely photo with Lewis and Chloe, which made my life! They are both so gorgeous and lovely and this is one of my favourite photos ever! I felt like I'd had my photo taken with a real life god and goddess!!

Then it was time for us to leave the venue, and Tracey sang Prides songs all the way back to our hotel! I think this was my favourite night ever of seeing Prides, it was so much fun!

Birmingham, March 2015

The 33rd time I met Lewis was at The Institute in Birmingham on Monday 23rd March 2015.

This was the fourth date of Prides UK tour with Kiesza.

I got to the venue at about 3pm and I was the first there. Soon afterwards two fans of Kiesza arrived. They were very dedicated fans who had travelled all the way from the Czech Republic to see her!

Then my friends Lisa and Ruth arrived. Lisa was a lovely online friend of mine and it was so nice to meet her in person at last! And Ruth is really lovely too. We had lots of fun waiting in the queue together. We also made friends with the Czech fans. They didn't speak any English so we used google translate to communicate with them and they were really lovely.

While we were queuing, Prides walked past us. I said hi and Lewis said hi Greer and gave me a little wave and I was so happy! Later they walked back past and Lewis smiled at me and it made my life! That was one of my favourite moments of the whole tour!

Later, Penny arrived at the venue. She had brought her siblings with her - all three of them and it was lovely to meet them all!

By the time the doors opened we were all absolutely freezing but it was worth it to get to the front barrier. I stood in the centre so I could have the perfect view of Lewis, and the others stood more to the right.

Prides were of course amazing! Here are a couple of photos of Lewis on stage, taken by Lisa.

And I noticed something... Kiesza's drummer has a glass screen which he drums behind, and it is always already on stage while Prides perform, and tonight I noticed that I could see Lewis' reflections in the glass so I got like a multi-angle view of him drumming! Well I found that very exciting!

I told Lewis that, when I met him, and he said it was because the screen had been polished today.  I also said how amazing he had been on TV yesterday (Prides had been on Sunday Brunch on Channel 4) and he said thanks.

Penny was talking to Callum and they were saying about how her siblings out-numbered Prides, and Callum put his arm round me and said I could be in Team Callum. That really meant a lot to me.

Because Tracey couldn't be at the gig, I wanted to do something nice for her. So I bought the CD of 'I Should You Know You Better' and I asked Stewart to sign it and write a message for her. He wrote a lovely personal message, which meant a lot to her.

I got some lovely photos with Ruth, Lisa, and Lewis.

The above photos were taken on Lisa's phone. I tried to take one with my camera, but it didn't turn out so well.  Lewis said that I have an antique camera!!

We were saying about having favourite members of Prides, and Callum said that I'm the only person who has a favourite member and he said 'we're not a boyband!'

Then I went back upstairs to watch Kiesza and she sounded so amazing again and it was lovely to see Ljuba dancing, she is so talented!

Ruth and Lisa went back to the hotel before the end of the gig. Lisa had got her CD's signed by Callum and Stewart, but not Lewis, so she left them with me to try to get signed. Also, my friend, Jenny from Canada, had asked me to get some CD's signed for her too. So I went back down to the merchandise stand.  Callum and Stewart were there and they signed Jenny's CD's for her.

Then Lewis came down too and he signed all the CD's for my friends, and I got another photo with him which was lovely.

I said goodbye and he said see you tomorrow!

It was a very fun night and it was so lovely to be there with several of my friends!

Friday 27 March 2015

Glasgow, March 2015

The 32nd time I met Lewis was at the O2 ABC in Glasgow on Saturday 21st March 2015.

This was the third date of Prides' UK tour supporting Kiesza.

I got to the venue at about 3.30pm and was first in the queue.

I saw Kiesza get out of her tour bus, but I felt too shy to say hello! Also her lovely dancer, Ljuba, walked past and smiled at me. I wanted to ask for a photo, but again I was too shy.

I saw Prides' van arrive, but they couldn't get into their parking space because it was blocked by these huge bins from one of the places next to the venue. So Prides and their crew got out of the van and were moving the bins out of the way, which shows what nice down to earth people they all are, but they shouldn't have been in a situation where they had to do that. My idol Lewis should not have to move bins, he's a god!

Then they carried their equipment into the venue and Lewis said hi Greer when he walked past. I was on the phone to Tracey Faye, and when Stewart walked past I said she was on the phone, and Stewart smiled and waved at the phone!

Lewis kept walking past me carrying all this heavy equipment, which was very exciting! He is so strong!

Later, Tracey joined me in the queue and I was so happy to be reunited with her again. I met some of her friends too, who are so lovely!

We got to the front barrier inside the venue and put our glow sticks on.

We really enjoyed Prides! Tracey was a bit drunk (again) and was doing some amazing dancing. I saw Stewart smiling at her while he was singing.

Lewis' drumming was so powerful and I watched him in awe.

After their set, we went to the merchandise stand, but I didn't think Prides would come out, as they hadn't said so, and I knew they had to travel to London overnight.

While we standing there, I saw someone so beautiful and I thought it was KLOË who I am a big fan of, but I wasn't 100% sure and I didn't want to go and say hello in case it wasn't her!

Also, I thought I saw Neil from The Wild Curve and I was looking over to see if it was him and then he saw me and waved and it was him! I was so happy to see him and he gave me a hug and we had a lovely chat. He said he wanted to get on stage and perform and I wish he had done. I love the Wild Curve so much.

Then Prides' lovely photographer and merchandise lady, Emily, said to me that KLOË was there and I was so happy it actually was her! KLOË is even more beautiful in person than she looks on her photos and she is really sweet and lovely. I had a nice chat with her and it was so exciting to actually get to meet her!

Then I asked Emily if Prides were coming to the merchandise stand and she said no because they needed to set off to London straight away. It was really nice of her to tell me this, because then we knew we had to wait outside if we wanted any chance of meeting them.

So we went out and waited and then Prides came out. I didn't see Lewis till he had already got in the van, and I thought it was too late for me to get a photo. I went over and asked him if I could have a photo and he said of course and he got out of the van! I couldn't believe it, it was so kind of him as I know they wanted to get going as soon as possible.

I got a lovely photo and he said see you on Monday! I think it's so nice that he always remembers that I'm going to the next gig.

Stewart came over to meet Tracey and her friends. I told him that Tracey was coming with me to see them in London and Nottingham and he seemed really happy! He gave her a hug and said 'Tracey's on the road!'

Me and Tracey stayed to watch the van leave and then we went back to our hotel feeling so happy, we'd both had such an amazing time! It was definitely one of my favourite times of seeing Prides!

Leeds, March 2015

The 31st time I met Lewis was at the O2 Academy in Leeds on Friday 20th March 2015.

This was the second date of Prides' UK tour supporting Kiesza.

I got to the venue at about 5.30 pm and there was already a short queue. I was about 7th in the queue. I got talking to some nice people, including Katy B's number 1 fan, Phil, and a lovely Prides fan!

Inside the venue I managed to get a front centre place at the barrier and I felt very lucky!

Prides' were amazing again. This time they started with 'The Seeds You Sow', but they still played all the same songs. Lewis was so brilliant, as always!

Thank you Phil for these lovely photos of Lewis!

One of my photos!

My friend Penny had a press pass at the gig; she got some amazing photos (thank you Penny!)

Also, Penny wrote a lovely review of the gig, which I recommend you read:
http://www.backseatmafia.com/2015/03/21/live-review-kiesza-and-prides-at-o2-academy-leeds-20th-march-2015/

After they'd played, Callum and Stewart came to the merchandise stand to meet fans, while Lewis got something to eat. They both gave me a hug. I was standing with Penny and another Prides fan, and they stayed to talk to us for ages. Well I didn't do much talking, because I am too shy, but Penny is really good at speaking to bands, and it was a lovely chat and they kept including me in it, which was really nice.

Then Kiesza came on stage, and I really enjoyed her performance. She is extremely talented to do all that singing and dancing and she has an amazing voice. She is also very beautiful and seemed a sweet person.

There was an amazing dancer with her, a gorgeous lady called Ljuba who had lovely purple hair. I was completely mesmerized watching her dance, she is really wonderful!

After Kiesza had finished, Prides came out to the merchandise stand, and this time Lewis was with Stewart and Callum. I said sorry to Lewis for crying at him yesterday and he was so kind about it and said it was ok.

I got some lovely photos.

I also got a great photo of Penny with Callum and Stewart!

Then I said goodbye to Lewis and he said see you tomorrow, which made me very happy!

It was a brilliant night!

Manchester, March 2015

The 30th time I met Lewis was at the Albert Hall in Manchester on Thursday 19th March 2015.

This was the first date of Prides' UK tour supporting Kiesza.

I got to Manchester early in the morning as I was meeting my friend Tracey Faye, who had travelled all the way from Glasgow to see Prides! She is a very dedicated fan. We were staying in a hotel together and spent 2 hours getting ready, then we headed to the venue to see if there was a queue.

We got there at about 1pm and there was no queue yet, so went to a nearby bar, as we were both feeling a bit nervous and it seemed like a good idea to have a couple of drinks to calm our nerves...

Six rum and cokes later, we were both in very happy spirits! We saw Prides' van arrive and I went outside because I was going to go and say hello, but when I saw Lewis I felt too shy and I just couldn't!

At about 5pm we went to queue and we were the first there so we easily got to the front barrier inside the venue.

The Albert Hall is the most beautiful venue I've ever been to. I felt like I was at the church of Lewis!

We'd brought glow sticks with us and made ourselves glow stick crowns, bracelets and necklaces!

Prides' performance was amazing! They started with my favourite song, 'Out Of The Blue', which was a suprise! Usually I wouldn't want it to be the first song in their set, as I'd prefer to have it still to look forward to, but it was a really special moment as I'd been feeling very emotional and it was just so lovely to see Lewis again and for it to be my favourite song they played first.

I was really happy that they played 'Just Say It' which is my favourite of their unreleased songs, and 'Little Danger' too.  Tracey enjoyed most 'I Should Know You Better' which is her very favourite song, and also 'Higher Love' which she had made up her own dance for!

They finished with 'Messiah', as always, and Lewis got up on his drum, which made my night!

I had a really perfect view of Lewis throughout the set, as there was very little smoke, and the lighting was good for watching him too. He looked so handsome and his muscles looked bigger than ever!

After Prides had finished, Tracey and I went downstairs to wait to meet them at the merchandise stand. Stewart and Callum came in first. I apologised to them for things that had happened recently, and they both said it was all ok and gave me a hug. I felt so happy and relieved!

Stewart gave Tracey a hug and she gave him a glass of red wine. He drank some and then gave it back to her, so I guess it wasn't very nice! But she was happy because she got to keep the straw he'd drank from!

Here is a lovely photo of Tracey and Stewart!

Then Lewis came in and I said sorry to him, and he said it was all ok and I was so happy! It was so lovely to see him again and to talk to him, and he was as kind as always!

I'd had a new t-shirt made specially for this tour, and Lewis signed it for me.

Tracey and Lewis were talking about where she was from in Glasgow, and then she showed him a photo of a grumpy woman who had been on her train, which was quite random!!

Stewart's mum was there and she recognised me again and we had a lovely chat with her. She is such a nice lady.

Then me and Tracey got ourselves another drink (big mistake) and sat down for a bit. One minute Tracey was so happy and then next minute she was in floods of tears for no apparent reason! I tried to comfort her, but she was so upset. I went to have a quick word with Lewis about something, and then Stewart went over to Tracey, gave her a big hug and said 'Tracey's drunk and emotional!' He stood hugging her for a while, which was really sweet.

But then I started crying, which was really stupid of me, as there was nothing to be sad about. Then I spilt my drink everywhere, and 2 security guards came over and I thought they were going to tell me off for being drunk, but they just wanted to check that me and Tracey were ok, because they knew we'd been queuing for hours and they were worried that we'd had a bad night. We explained that we were both just really drunk.

We left soon after that. But I had another quick chat with Lewis before we went, and he was really kind to me, even though I was drunkenly crying at him. He said he'd see me tomorrow.

Then me and Tracey went back to our hotel and cried.

The next morning we woke up and were so mortified when we remembered what had happened. The thought of us sitting in a room where our favourite band were, and we were crying so much, all lit up by the glow sticks we were wearing... it's just the worst!! But at least we can laugh about it now and how stupid it was, and I am never getting drunk when I see Lewis ever again!

I do feel very ashamed that I cried when I was talking to Lewis, but he was still so nice and calm with me, and I am so grateful to him for being such a lovely kind person.
